Today HRC released a new digital ad in Pennsylvania for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and U.S. Senate candidate Katie McGinty. With one week until Election Day, this ad highlights for Keystone State voters the pro-equality records of both Secretary Clinton and Katie McGinty.
In “Clinton & McGinty For Equality,” Katie McGinty emphasizes the importance of safeguarding equal rights and protections for all Americans: “We each must look out for each other. We can respect every single person in this country.”
The ad also features Secretary Clinton examining the issues at stake in this election for LGBTQ people and their families: “We’re going to have an election that is truly going to be about fundamental rights: marriage equality, taking on the continuing discrimination against the LGBT community. We’ve got to address the growing crisis of transphobic violence.”

“Hillary & McGinty For Equality” is part of HRC’s digital campaign targeting pro-equality voters across Pennsylvania. The Senate election in Pennsylvania is one of the most closely contested races in the country, and it is critically important that the more than 270,000 LGBTQ voters and their allies in the state make their voices heard by casting a ballot for Katie McGinty.
The campaign is part of a larger get-out-the-vote effort aimed at mobilizing 10 million LGBTQ voters nationwide, as well as millions of other pro-equality voters.
